02 / Processing of personal data
Privacy
This notice describes the data processing of the newly developed Proforall website. The responsible party is proforall ag, Ruessenstrasse 12, 6340 Baar, Switzerland. For privacy inquiries, contact us at info@proforall.ch.
We follow the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA). If foreign data protection regulations also apply to a specific processing activity, they must be taken into account as well.
The essentials at a glance
- The contact form prepares an email in your email program.
- Fonts are provided locally through our website.
- Google Analytics is loaded only when measurement is enabled and after your explicit consent.
- External websites are opened through standard links.
Website operation and technical data
This website is hosted by Hostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. When the site is accessed, technical connection data is processed: IP address, request time, requested address, and information about the browser and operating system.
Hostpoint stores technical data in log files to ensure operation, investigate errors, and defend against attacks. According to Hostpoint, this data is automatically deleted once it is no longer operationally necessary and legal or contractual retention periods have expired; for most data, retention is no longer than six months.
Contact by form, email, or telephone
The contact form processes your name, email address, optional company, selected topic, and message in the browser. After you press the button, this information is passed to your email program. The form does not send the message to a form server and does not create its own permanent storage in the browser.
Only when you send the prepared draft from your email program is the message delivered through the email services involved. Your email program may itself save or synchronize drafts.
When you contact us, we use the information provided to process your inquiry, communicate with you, and, where applicable, prepare or carry out the agreed services. Please provide only information that we need for your request.
We use Microsoft 365 with Exchange Online for our business email communication. Contact inquiries sent to info@proforall.ch are processed in a shared mailbox. Microsoft is involved as a service provider in processing the messages. According to Microsoft 365 administration, the current storage region for Exchange Online data at rest is the EU/EFTA; Switzerland is specified as the guaranteed geography. This does not mean that the data is already stored exclusively in Switzerland. The storage region does not describe all processing or support access.
Locally provided fonts
We use the DM Sans font and provide the font files through the same server as our website. Loading the font does not establish a connection to Google Fonts, and no data is sent to Google for this purpose.
Your browser may cache the font files. The technical connection data generated when they are accessed is processed as described in the website operation section. If the font is unavailable, the website uses a fallback font.
Google Analytics - only with consent
We have prepared Google Analytics 4 for statistical analysis of the website. When measurement is enabled, we load the Google tag only after you select Accept in the consent banner. If you decline, no connection to Google Analytics is made, including no cookieless measurement.
After consent, page views, technical information about the browser and device, and information about the referring website are processed in particular. Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_... to associate recurring visits. In our integration, cookies are set to a maximum of 180 days without automatic renewal. The IP address is processed during technical transmission to Google. The Analytics account is configured to retain event data for two months and user data for 14 months. The user-data period resets with new user activity. These account settings are separate from cookie duration; most standard reports based on aggregated data are not affected.
The analysis helps us understand which content is being used and where we can improve the website. Our integration removes search parameters and fragments from the transmitted page address. We do not send form entries as custom Analytics events. Ad personalization and Google Signals are disabled in the integration.
Recipients are Google and the companies used for the service. Processing in the United States is possible. Further information can be found in the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choice is stored locally in the browser for up to 180 days. You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer. Measurement is then disabled for future visits; data already transmitted is not automatically deleted as a result.
Retention and recipients
Simple contact inquiries without an order are deleted no later than six months after processing is completed, unless statutory retention obligations or necessary retention for asserting, exercising, or defending legal claims prevent this. If an order arises, the necessary information is handled as customer or project records according to the applicable retention rules.
Your privacy rights
Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you may request information about whether and which personal data we process about you. You may also request the correction of inaccurate data and, where the requirements are met, the deletion or disclosure of your data. Legal obligations may prevent deletion.
Send your request to info@proforall.ch or to our postal address. To identify your request and protect your data, verification of your identity may be required.
Information about your rights and the Swiss supervisory authority can be found at the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
